The Barge-Chestnut Neighborhood Association (BCNA) is dedicated to preserving the unique qualities of our historic neighborhood. The Barge-Chestnut neighborhood is located in Yakima, Washington and contains examples of homes built in every decade starting in 1880 through the mid-1980s when nearly all of the properties were built out.

Our neighborhood contains designated bike paths, a middle school, the Yakima Valley Museum, parks, and safe residential streets for strolling and jogging.

The BCNA seeks to preserve our historic neighborhood as a valuable community resource that provides quality homes across a variety of price ranges for a wide range of families. We encourage you to visit our neighborhood, explore our architecture, and enjoy our beautiful homes and gardens. Neighborhood residents and supports are encouraged to join our neighborhood association.
